Went here for dinner on a Friday night. Didn't have a reservation but we were seated within 5 minutes. Ordered a glass of wine and some lemonade. Drinks were good as food we ordered the octopus carpaccio salad, the shiitake skewer, the waygu unagi skewer and the eel unagi skewer. Took a little bit for the food to arrive. The octopus carpaccio salad was ok, octopus was a bit rubbery, but not too bad. Probably my least favorite dish. The skewers however were amazing, I especially liked the waygu beef skewer. Super tender meat and great combination with the seasoning and sauce. The shiitake mushroom was also really good, simple, but the mushrooms were grilled perfectly. The skewers are not massive, so still felt a bit hungry and ordered the chicken karaage. Pretty nice portion size and really liked the tartar sauce. Great fried chicken, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Overall really nice dinner, will be back and try more options, especially some of the skewers. Staff were friendly and attentive and like the interior as well. A bit dark, but great to have some good food and a nice conversation.

This spot now ranks one of the top peninsula/south bay spots in my book! Tables and seats are on the smaller side, and reservation comes with time limits that are pretty punctually enforced, so come on time for your res! Food and drinks overall were delectable. My favorite has to be the beef tongue (unpictured), I would probably pass on the yellowtail carpaccio next time. Fried mushrooms, karaage, and uni + wagyu paella were solid. Drinks were delicious, not too strong.

Decided to come here about ~30 minutes before they closed & most of the dishes we wanted to try were already sold out :( the server offered some great alternatives though. We had the oxtail udon, beef tongue and the garlic rice & wagyu paella. The oxtail udon was kind of lacking in flavor but overall everything was really good. Loved the matcha brûlée for dessert too. I'd probably come back when they open for dinner and not before they close to try some other dishes before they sell out.

Food is very delicious with high quality ingredients! Plating is artistic! Service is good too. I like how big the tables are in this restaurant compared to other typical Japanese restaurants. Off street parking is easy to find in this area of RWC and it's free after 8pm.
